    Sold under brand names like Masteril, Drolban, and Masteron, Drostalanone is an androgenic and anabolic steroid (AAS) drug. It is a dihydrotestosterone (DHT) derivative. They are often referred to as Mastabol, Mast, or Masto. Masteron is usually available in two versions - the propionate version of Masteron is called Masteron Propionate and the enanthate version is called Masteron Enanthate 200.

    History of Masteron
    Drostalanone propionate was first developed by Syntex Pharmaceuticals in 1959 along with Anadrol. As described in the history, Drostanolone (Masteron) was a steroid with powerful anabolic and anti-estrogenic properties. Later, after a period of 10 years, it became mainstream and started being used as a prescription drug.

    Testosterone propionate is often considered an exotic anabolic steroid. Initially, this steroid was used as an anti-estrogen and was used to treat breast cancer in women with mild anti-estrogenic properties. It is used in conjunction with another drug and the results showed a significant decrease in estrogen levels in women who underwent this treatment. Due to various reasons, the use of testosterone propionate for this treatment has now been discontinued.

    It has gained a great deal of popularity over the years and for the past 30 years it has been a staple in the preparation for competitions, giving weightlifters or bodybuilders the muscle to look great on stage. Currently, Masteron Enanthate or testosterone propionate is one of the most popular injectable anabolic steroids for athletes and weightlifters.

    Two Variants


    Masteron is commonly available in two variants – Masteron Propionate and Masteron Enanthate. Both are anabolic steroids and the main difference between the two is in dosing, action and half-life. Both Masteron variants are considered mild and should therefore be used in conjunction with other similar compounds.

    Masteron propionate is a fast-acting anabolic steroid. It is usually dosed at 50 – 150 mg/ml and needs to be injected daily throughout the course of medication as it is faster and clears the body in a shorter period of time (half-life is about 2.5 days).

    Masteron Enanthate is a relatively slow-acting anabolic steroid, but it is a long-acting anabolic steroid. Typically, it is dosed at 200 mg/mL. Unlike Propionate, Masteron Enanthate or gp mast 200 only needs to be injected twice a week, but in larger doses, because it is slower to act but clears the body faster (half-life is about 10 days).

    What is Masteron Enanthate?


    Masteron Enanthate, also known as Drostalanone Enanthate, is one of the variants of Masteron, and its origin is unknown. This drug is called an anabolic androgenic steroid because it triggers cell growth. Cells formed through metabolism are called anabolic, while male hormones such as testosterone are called androgens. So, as is clear from the name, Masteron Enanthate or gp mast 200 promotes the development of male characteristics such as muscle and hair growth.

    In the early days (1970s and 1980s), Masteron Enanthate 200 mg or testosterone enanthate was used to treat breast cancer patients. As better treatments were later discovered, the use of this drug gradually decreased.

    However, its great therapeutic effects made it famous. Currently, it is widely used by weightlifters and fitness enthusiasts around the world to show off their muscles before competitions. Bodybuilders and athletes use this drug to build muscle, enhance their physique, and even as an aromatase inhibitor (AI). It is very successful because it is a combination of androgen (DHT dihydrotestosterone) and sex steroids.

    What does Masteron Enanthate do?


    Masteron Enanthate or Testosterone Enanthate is often taken by athletes and bodybuilders to help increase blood levels, increase protein synthesis, and also help increase plasma levels. They are said to have anti-estrogenic properties, so it does not convert into estrogen (through aromatization) and has a longer duration of action. Masteron is very effective at blocking the conversion of free testosterone into estrogen, thus preventing any side effects that may occur due to increased estrogen levels.

    As mentioned earlier, Masteron Enanthate 200 mg is a combination of the androgen DHT (dihydrotestosterone) and a sex steroid. Drostalanone is similar to DTH but has some modifications to it (drostanolone) to prevent metabolic breakdown after taking it.

    DHT is synthesized in the prostate, testicles, adrenal glands, and hair follicles to bring out male characteristics. As testosterone levels increase, so do DHT levels in the body. The good news is that DHT does not convert into estrogen. Since Masteron is DHT-based, an increase in DHT levels does not result in an increase in estrogen levels.
